Inlaks Showcases Financial Kiosk at e-Banking Forum (Demo)

Inlaks Computers Limited, an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Infrastructure solutions provider in Nigeria and the West African region, recently excited participants at the just concluded Committee of e-Banking Industry Heads (CeBIH) conference in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State with her financial kiosk brand.

The technology solution company displayed its financial kiosk at tone forum, in furtherance of the e-channel requirements of the financial industry.

CeBIH is the body of e-business industry practitioners of all Nigerian banks and serves to promote e-Banking services innovation in Nigeria, in line with Global Best Practices. Through CeBIH, the heads of e-banking also encourage innovation and drive adoption of key solutions by encouraging the right policies, standards, technologies and public awareness programmes towards the attainment of Vision 20-2020 goals.

The theme of the forum this year was ‘e-Payment Systems: Harnessing Opportunities for Growth and Profitability’ and it focused on Mobile Payments, Agency Banking and Financial inclusion. The forum also presented an opportunity for all the banks’ service providers and stakeholders to chart a course for enhancing e-payment services that ensures profitability and assists to build a cohesive and sustainable platform for the anticipated growth of the Nigerian e-payment space.

Director, Infrastructure & eBanking unit of Inlaks, Tope Dare, said “The Kiosk (Monimax 9100) offers a wide range of card and card-less services including bill payment, funds transfer, balance inquiry, mobile top-up, full statement, account opening, card services and cheque services.”

He added that the use of the financial Kiosks at the Banks’ business offices and centres nationwide would assist to accelerate the e-payment strategy of the Banks and other financial institutions.

“With our open architecture design and high scalability, the Kiosk makes the self-service experience more dynamic by giving users the freedom to choose between a variety of identification and transaction options. Choices include contact-less card sensor, barcode reader, card reader, encryption pin pad, touch screen and biometrics. This kiosk provides added convenience in the Banks’ branch for customers with non-cash transactions thus offering more options and faster service” Dare added.

In open encouragement of innovative solutions which is the hallmark of Inlaks, the company has decided to introduce the latest and best in class solution which comes with some unique features such as multiple services, highly scalability, customer-centric options and self-service convenience. The Kiosk solution is also part of Inlaks’ activities to revolutionize cashless transactions and customer migration to alternative e-channel platforms in Nigeria.
