Speaking to hundreds of diverse people including bankers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and the academia at the 2017 edition of TEDxIkeja in Lagos, the CEO of Inlaks, Femi Adeoti, told the cerebral audience that only clear policy objectives from the regulators could lead to transparent financial inclusion.
Adeoti was who spoke on the topic “Who Needs Financial Inclusion said because the country’s legal system “is a bit weak,” only “a clear policy objectives and measurable targets would lead to transparent financial inclusion decisions”.
He added that the country should develop legislation and regulations that address cultural issues that are constraining financial inclusion, as there are over “40 million people waiting to be integrated.”
