Yacoba has over 19 years’ experience spanning across both private and public-sector organizations, she is passionate about the finance sector as is evident in a prior consulting contract with Women’s World Banking International, an NGO which is involved in financial inclusion working with over 40 partner banks in 29 countries. She consulted for one of their partner banks in Malawi in customer care strategy development, business process reengineering and training where she worked remotely from home and conducted site visits to the client from time to time. She also headed Capital Link, a subsidiary of Capital Bank, Ghana (now GCB), where she was responsible for customer acquisition, distribution, marketing and deposit mobilization of a financial inclusion product and was able to expand the distribution channels and increase the sales of the product.
Yacoba holds a First-Class Degree in BA (Secretary ship) now Bachelor of Management Studies with a Diploma in Education (Distinction) from University of Cape Coast and an MBA in Service Excellence from University of Wales, Graduate Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana.
