Azad Shivdasani

Azad Shivdasani, is Chairman of the Inlaks Group, a multinational organization employing 4,000 people in a range of enterprises. The Inlaks group’s interests include the provision of IT services, the manufacture of aluminium rolled products, tea plantations, textiles, oilfield equipment leasing and engineering services. He has been trustee of the Inlaks Foundation for twenty-five years which gives scholarships to gifted students from India to continue their higher education at universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. From 1985-1995, he was a director of the Internal Institute for Environment and Development and its treasurer from 1988-1993.
